Dr. Anna D. Barker, Deputy Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), presents a concept to support the development of Physical Sciences in Oncology Centers at the 41st meeting of the NCI's Board of Scientific Advisors (BSA), who provides scientific advice on a wide variety of matters concerning scientific program policy, progress, and future direction of the NCI's extramural research programs, and concept review of extramural program initiatives. Following enthusiastic remarks by several BSA members and a brief Q&A session, the initiative receives BSA approval.
